I like it because this allows the writers to explore more of Daredevil/Matt’s stance on killing. We’ve already spent 3 seasons exploring the conflict; let’s see how he deals with it once he crosses that line when he has no other choice

I wlll say give it some time. Benson and Moorhead are masterclass storytellers but they had to come in and use some of what was shot already...as we go on it will be more purely B&M and I can almost guarantee it'll be good. - PLD

Foggy was often times Matt's voice of reason, almost his better half. I think Matt may even see it that way. Foggy along with Father Nelson and Karen were the weights on the other side of the scale for Matt (DD). Father Nelson is gone, Foggy is gone, for all intents and purposes, Karen is gone as well. Matt is out of balance. Therefore, DD is out of balance. I think part of the reason DD has been absent is not only grief/guilt but because Matt is afraid of what kind of unraveling could happen without the weights on the other side of the scale. We are seeing what that looks like now. He is out of control. It's not comfortable. For us or for Matt. It's kind of scary even. Frank warns him this is going to happen eventually in the earlier seasons. He tells him he is one bad day away from being him. In Matts case, it took a few bad days, but it is happening. I think we are meant to be uncomfortable and feel the imbalance as compared to the earlier seasons. Shit maybe Frank is his voice of reason this time around. A plea to not go down the same path as The Punisher. In a way DD has been a balance for Punisher in the past. Not completely but at least got Frank to have discussions. Maybe the roles will kind of switch. Or they fuel each other into a murderous rage. We'll find out ha .

Im not gonna assume he killed these guys but i will acknowledge he isnt holding anything back WHEN having no other choice. If a gun wasn’t to his head he would not have gone that crazy i guarantee. Their clearly showing us how far he can be tested without having to resort back to vigilante shit. Foggys death is sudden and an episode or two with him would have been nice but i wanna see the season play out before i say FUCK THAT lol. Im excited for more white tiger. I dont like his new karen at the moment. Or cherry. Makes me miss urich. You can see where they filled in the gaps of rewrites and reshoots. But hey season 2 will be FASCINATING

I agree with Greg completely. I am not vibing with the direction of the two episodes. I think I am just still connected to foggy and karen so losing both of them first ep still hurt then they skip ahead a year and introduce us to new friends and I'm like still getting over not seeing the old ones. He also just kills people now.
