The NOTEBOOK (2004) - Movie WATCH ALONG!!

Comments

Every time I hear about the Notebook, I remember a scene from One Tree Hill where Bevin says the best way to get a guy you like to be open and vulnerable is to make him watch the Notebook. And that's true...Also, James Marsden had been the 'wrong guy' in so many movies, I feel kinda bad for him

all you had to do was talk about the notebook to get chicks in the mid 2000's

I was one of those people that avoided this movie for years solely because of all the hype lol all my girlfriends were practically begging and trying to force me to watch it and I never gave in but I finally did with you guys and I honestly regret it!! 😭😭 apparently subconsciously I was protecting myself because damn this movie tore my heart up then fixed it only to tear it up again 😭 now my eyes feel swollen my chest feels tight and I feel dehydrated lol now I'm going to go watch Harry Potter.... This was a great movie and reaction but damn I hate that I did that to myself lol 😅

If you want to see James Garner in a fun western, checkout Maverick, which the film is a remake of his own television series he was on in the late 50s early 60s. Great cast too stars Mel Gibson (playing James Garner’s role from the TV Show Bret Maverick), James Garner, and Jodie Foster, and many more. Also, it is a very self aware comedy along with a western. Also, you could have a drinking game of how many actors and country singers have cameos in this film. lol

FYI, older Ally, is the directors Mother

this was a surprising treat of a reaction, classic love story that always makes me cry, and I love that you two got so emotional watching this because it's such a beautiful story! Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts! Oh and Aaron I think it's interesting how you said you liked his voice, and I often think when watching your reactions that I really love your voice, very deep, sexy and calming type voice. And John, watching you break down at the end there, I totally understand and it made me cry more, thank you for your vulnerability!

**** SPOILERS BELOW **** I love this movie so much and I really appreciate watching it with male reactors who aren't afraid to cry on camera. Thank you both. I love it so much that I might watch the reaction with you again today. Ryan and Rachel are just magic! I love the scene of them walking after the movie and dancing in the street. It's just so beautiful to watch. Asking her about the things she wants to do, not has to do. When he asked her to dance, when she wants a say in what the house is going to look like and his promise to do it, when he asked her to stay with him. Ugh.. well, I could go on and on as you can tell. At the end when Allie starts to forget and calls for help, that just breaks me. The look on James Garner's face crying as they are trying to calm Allie down. If I'm watching alone, sometimes I will not watch that and will stop once we see young Allie run into Noah's arms as he comes out of the front door. Those are R&R last scenes. One thing does bother me a little is that Ryan has light hair and James Garner's hair is black. I'm not sure if they were trying to throw us off by not knowing who was reading to older Allie, but the pictures they showed when they were younger are completely wrong. Even if Noah's hair got darker as is does sometimes as blondes get older, they could've done a better job with that, IMO BTW John, James Garner is not Jennifer's father.
