Updates on "The Rookie"

Hey everyone!

As I told  before, originally I used to work on the comics by writing, storyboarding and rendering the scenes in weekly or monthly  blocks, this way of work  even it worked it was also very stressful because I was faced with the fact that I had to retouch a script that after weeks without seeing it did not make much sense to me and in the end I used to want  retouch everything. Due to this I decided that for this project I would not start rendering anything until I had a complete script, well written, revised and with their respective  complete storyboard .

So, this week I've been advancing that stage of the project but for some reason I couldn't accommodate myself; I first tried to do the storyboards  directly on paper, but I couldn't think of the dialogue properly while looking at the poses, the layout  of the pages and all those details; then i tried to write a kind of classic comic script, but when you do this you feel an urge to start drawing some panels, you are afraid that the ideas will get away and it becomes very frustrating; so in the end I decided on a process in which I write the script in the day, before go  to work, and I edit the storyboard at night; Now I feel comfortable doing this project. I said that this comic would start publishing this Saturday but it seems that it will take a little longer, I will inform you.

By the way I am also working in Domsquad in the afternoons.

Understood, thank you for the head's up. Just as an idea, seeing a few of the storyboard sketches might be cool when the story is done--a sort of "behind-the-scenes" thing could be pretty fun (I find that sort of thing about the process of creating art/fiction super interesting).
