I don't think I can provide a concrete timeline, but it will require me to be at least 2-3 more chapters ahead. Things IRL fluctuate my free time greatly, my beta reader is also not always available because of some therapy stuff, and inspiration/research is never a constant.

It's up to the dragon with who they bond. Sometimes it takes time; sometimes, it doesn't. Having Valyrian blood increases the likely hood of you getting chosen by a dragon, but if the dragon in particular dislikes you, you won't have any luck.
