Fanart Drop

Today, we have another big collection of fan artwork that has been submitted since the last drop! I want to take a moment to thank everyone again for your enthusiasm and creativity, I'm always blown away by your work.

eddfr brings us three wonderful watercolor pieces inspired by The Autumn War. We have two Valbaran Commandos armed with laser weapons. I really like the lenses and the big thick power cables on these, and the details on the suits are excellent. The background featuring the ruined Kerguelan city is especially nice, lots of very cool details and callbacks to the story. The centerpiece is a battle scene featuring their interpretation of the Yagda, which I very much enjoy, hovering over the horizon to support a group of pinned soldiers. If you look closely, they've been shooting so much that their batteries are on fire!
Just tremendous work, I love it.

Spooky is back with some more Valbaran art for us, this time featuring some excellent vehicle artwork. He really outdid himself on the scene of three Tzcuauht’li stealth bombers taking off for a training mission. The perspective and the sky make it look almost like a photo.
We also have some Jurassic Park inspired shenanigans, and a lovely Valbaran in casual clothes wearing her shortest of shorts.

KOWT is back, this time with an adorable Valbaby repping a cute little shirt. I love the cartoony, chibi style on this guy. He's also done some very nice studies on Valbarans in his own style, which I think works very nicely for them.

We have another returning artist, Mr.Chair, who has shared some more lovely Valbaran artwork. One features a Valbaran lounging around with her phone, wearing what have now been canonized as traditional Valbaran dolphin shorts. There's also a very creative piece showing a Valbaran weather monitoring team doing research up in the mountains of the planet's colder regions. Operating the equipment is a feathered Valbaran who doesn't need to wear extra clothing thanks to her insulating coat, which is a neat detail. This makes me want to explore the colder regions of Valbara sometime soon.

Pastamist brings us some more Borealan art today. We have a stony-faced Rask, Blackjack cheating at cards, and a wonderful picture of Zuki from Black Velvet wearing a fancy dress and attending a jungle restaurant date. She looks great in black, and I hope she enjoys her steak!

We have some Krell themed artwork made by Prophete and commissioned by FrostDraken. This one features a Krell and her partner having enjoyed some traditional local activities such as making jewelry and body painting, and are now watching the sunset together. I like the detail on all the little necklaces and markings here.

SketchyWarrior:
Finally, community member SketchyWarrior has converted and painted this Battletech Cataphract in Broker Hazard Team colors. He did a great job with the detailing on the coral camouflage!
