Status Update - Multiplayer Polls

Nothing playable yet, but I'm getting to the point where some of the technical details are out of the way and I'm actually able to start experimenting with "okay, how is this actually going to WORK?" and I wanted to get a little feedback from y'all.

2021-09-05 23:25:30 +0000 UTCI mean VR would be cool, but I don't think the game should turn strictly VR. Fairly certain a lot of support would go away simply for the fact not everyone plays VR lol. That's just my two cents on it. If VR is optional feature, heck yeah, but I'd say get the game out in running condition for standard PC before dabbling in that bisnasty lol.

2021-09-03 18:24:01 +0000 UTCNot sure if this will be read or not, but if you're having trouble with figuring how to get multiplayer to work or just the subject role in general I do have an idea. (Also I do think the VR, programmable sex toy stuff might be a bit overcomplicated for now, just my opinion. I think most people would be cool with just being able to interact regularly with each other, though it is a cool idea!) So, as a test subject, lets face it, there isn't much you can realistically do while restrained, but you have to make it somewhat engaging for the player and for the player to control the scene (If they so choose) from the racked position. How about a dialogue selection system? Now hear me out, its a bit more interactive then you think and more of a suggestion based system when it comes to multiplayer. So the premise is if you mouse over the various interactable parts from the Rack POV, you are presented with a small dialogue wheel, or symbols really. So for example you mouse over... your character's feet. A small wheel will appear with various options, first it would be what part you would like to interact with your foot, maybe... tongue or a generic line mentioning that you'd like that part interacted with somehow. Then it would take you to a little sub-dialog wheel where you can effect how your character says it. Aggressively/dominantly, or submissively, or just neutral. That would still play with the submissive-dominant bar in game. Maybe you're playing a female character that has an oral fixation. Mouse over the mouth, select the prompted part maybe a D*** in this regard, and then select aggressive. Your character will then say something along the lines of. "Let me suck on that C***, B****" or if you go submissive they could say something like "P-please let me suck on your C***, s-sir." or something like that. You also have the generic option of just directing the player/Ai's attention to a body part, so in the case of say breasts your character could say. "MMmm my breasts are getting so sensitive." So that would direct the other player in multiplayer to potentially doing something with your characters breasts if they so choose. The ai would immediately, and randomly choose to perform some random act on your character's breasts. This lets you somewhat control the dialogue and add your own input from the racked position, because from what I see, personally, there isn't much you can really do when so restrained other then potentially contribute dialog that might help guide the course of the scene if your partner listens. It could even be more passive and simpler then that. Being in subject position, the Ai would just go off the list of kinks/fetishes/etc. and randomly perform them at various percentage chances for each one. In multiplayer, the other player is presented with the list of your various fetishes and kinks or can access that list and use that to better interact with you on the rack. Essentially the Dialogue wheel idea is a form of non-verbal (Meaning no mic, or not typing things in yourself) communication for Multiplayer, something that is more interactive in the game's environment since NPCs you interact with already do have speech bubbles and what not during 'experiments.' You can even include other lines that allow the subject to tell the scientist how well they are doing, much like the NPCs let you know when they enjoy or dislike something. Anyhow, thats the gist of the idea, feel free to use it, I hope this gets read tbh, but... I have my doubts. Thanks anyway if you made it this far, whether you be Fek or another rando like me : )

2021-09-03 14:06:41 +0000 UTCI have what's probably the cheapest VR headset on the planet (and sadly hardest to find any more): I can only use it as a display on Linux, none of the tracking features. So I guess one could only say I own half of a VR headset. I've been interested in this stuff though, albeit proper VR is still a long time away sadly (especially for open-source).
