It works on my end, This is not Kickstarter and no Fek is not one of those Kickstarters that just steals money, So its not gonna turn into those horror stories we all heard on youtube. It's hard to tell but with the recent Unity Controversies this is only gonna get worse. While Unity did "improve" there whole Royalty thing it's still bad for devs mainly indies and Fek is also effected and any small dev or single person. Being devs charged a fee per install.

As of last week, if I try to upload any character from Racknet into my favs, it breaks the game if I load them in. And yeah, it says 0.2.11 for me as well. I assume it wasn't attended, but I don't think it affects anything.

If your game has a black screen on start up and then a message appears for a split second and goes away and leaves you with a hexagon background and a little blue thing in the top left, do this: Go to appdata (Windows key + R then typing in %appdata% in search bar, enter), click on AppData in the file explorer box and go to LocalLow, then delete the folder Fek. after this your game is fixed

this may sound really stupid, but how do I even play it after downloading the package? I am on Mac OS. It creates a folder called MAC_METAL or MAC_OGL, and clicking on that folder leads to "contents" and I am lost after that.

The one issue I have currently is Racknet characters not loading properly when they're test subjects, it bugs out my game, prompting me to restart it, any ideas for a workaround or is this just a known bug?

- I've started setting up the estim crafting branch. You can now unlock and order an Electroforge, which is used to craft estim toys. You can also unlock and craft the violet ray at the Electroforge, which can then be used to provide pleasurable estim (when held close to the subject) or painful punishment zaps (when held far away from the subject) to your subjects. - The RackNet login system now includes a password recovery feature. As part of some changes to the way password security is handled, all user passwords have been reset. I know this is a pain, and I apologize, but that's the nature of dev builds. - The research hologram puzzle system now has an auto-solve hotkey: TAB. Each time you press TAB, the game will automatically attempt to complete the puzzle for you by picking the most-likely cells based on existing hints already on the board. Eventually, this system will be given a proper interface (and will probably be set up to become fully automatic, after an unlock/achievement). - Several bugs have been fixed, especially regarding material/shader issues and a few translation errors. - I've updated the game's engine, to take advantage of the latest Unity performance improvements. - I've set up a new reticle UI widget to help pretty up several interactions. Several interactions have had their interaction reticle ranges tweaked and polished. Some interactions have had their animations polished. - As always, this update brings a handful of new known bugs that I'm still working on. When i start up the game it asks me what to do with older files, left overs. I tell them to back them up, but then it takes forever i have it running since 2 hours now and nothing changed. Where can i find the old files and delete them, so i can start fresh and without delay?

A lot of times, characters from older versions of the game will not be compatible with newer versions of the game. Its not a graphics card issue, its just not been refined too much yet

Hey I'm new and just wanted to see if I could get a response, when ever I try to view certain racknet characters it will try to load them and then sometimes not be able to. The only thing I could find was at one point the game saying the character is of a old version but I have the most recent version myself. So what ends up happening almost every time is that the character I tried loading with load with no textures (a pure white model) and then a prompt saying downgliding game files appears. This problem even happens with character on older and the same versions I have so was just wondering is there a graphic card or storage type requirement (ie. an ssd and a strong graphics card). If not do you have an idea of what might be causing it and how to fix it.

That there is just an overclock issue some 3080's have been having. Make sure your drivers are up to date, RTX 3080 can get a bit unstable if you're overclocking a factory overclocked card (such as an ASUS ROG OC)

Actually, no. Found it, it has migrated to the DEV BUILD FP version of the game, which makes that version playable now. Before it would just never load. Still want to know if theres a way to bring my account back to the non FP version though

Anyone else find this has more 'game breaking' bugs than the other versions? Seems like 75% of the time, trying to stop with a subject just breaks the game. Escape doesn't work and all you can run around leaving a blurry trail, only to get sucked back to where you started when you stop moving. Only thing you can do is alt tab, and force the game to close... loosing all progress.

unfortunately cant get this version to work for me either, spend 2 hours trying to find some sort of fix to no avail. after launching it the only thing i see is teh honeycomb background whitout any text. this version dont seem to use a proper launcher like the earlier ones either where ya could select screen resolution and stuff.

For anyone having issues starting this build, what worked for me was downloading the Local Emulator (LEInstaller on google) tool and emulate the 32-bit (LE wont work with 64 bit) version with USA setting (manually config) and the game boots. Debuild doesnt seem to work, but you have a ton of cash in normal build. Enjoy.

For me, my game just breaks when I go to use my character's dick on any test subject, volunteer or client. I can't interact, can't dismiss the subject/volunteer/client. Nada.

I'm having physics issues when interacting with subjects. at one point the subject and the character were launched upwards together, the animations went way out of whack, and I was teleported to the research area. The subject remained apparently outside the world cell, it was red with the cityscape texture in the distance. Also, for some reason, the number keys aren't corresponding correctly with the ones listed on the actions or tool select menus. When i hit 1, it selects 2. I've tried reassigning them and it hasn;t resolved the issue. Justa couple bugs I thought you might want to know about.

There's a bug when I go to select a test subject, it's stuck on an overlay window that says "preparing game files... Your game is missing some files. Please wait while we prepare those files." It's been on this screen for over 20 minutes.

With what you found, and looking at the character files myself to try it, I wouldn't be too surprised if the older characters are breaking due to not having a preference for electrostimulation set at all, since it's a new addition.

At your feet, you can see arrows towards research subjects. Walk towards them and then into them, they will then expand. Stop there (or you will just walk out again).

And one last thing, too fek, i know this is the first update back and i understand your sorting things out in your own life, so to be more positvie, it does seem more optimized then before, and interactions when the characters are near the same height do indeed look more polished. One thing i would reccomend as far during intercourse is spanking should also be and option during other interactions. i would like more spaning stuff to be added but i would think it would fit better there for now. Keep up the good work fek and i hope to see more from you. I still think about this game alot and hope to see alot more added, but such things by one person take time, but i hope you stick with us :)

The biggest bug i found so far is in the make a new character in the free play tab, it will simply not load, you will type your name and the game will lag, and then your stuck on the same screen with the name typeout, i cant make a new character in this version

There seem to be a lot of issues on character creation for me. Besides the pleasuring self soft locking the game which I've seen here a couple times. When using advanced editor if you change character aspects head type/patterns etc it seems that what ever color is there preloaded stays and is not changeable. Also when creating a basic plain mouse and doing something like changing the head from rodent to feline the eyes and soft tissue parts of the head turn what ever the base fur color is. Haven't found a way to fix afterwards.

I Have found the fix for importing older characters! It looks like it's getting hung up reading the preferences from the old character files, which is why it happens going from subject selection to the test room. To fix: 1.Make a new character in the current version, set the sexual preferences to what you want, then export it. 2. Go to the folder where all the character files are (there is a button on the import screen in game) 3. Open the character file of the character you just made with a text editor (wordpad for me) 4. Find the block of stuff that begins with and ends with . It's just about the last block of the character file, so go to end and scroll up a bit. 5. Copy that block, from to to you clipboard. 6. Open the files for the older characters you want, go to the same part of the file, and paste over it. 7. Save, close, rinse and repeat until you've got the characters you want done, then go forth and be horny!

New bug that seems to not have been mentioned yet. after choosing a test subject and setting them in a bondage apparatus causes your to no longer be able to move camera, interact with anything and several parts of the body get stuck in place where you were. Seems this update was just more of a downgrade and i think unity is most likely to blame for it. Edit: Fixed this issue by replacing sexual prefs of old characters as others in this comment thread have commented on how to fix that

I seem to not be able to look up, down, left or right. It's kinda hard to play when you don't have a 360 degree view and can only see things in half of it's scope.

Here are some of the bugs ive encountered. 1) Masterbating in the starting shower tends to bug out the advanced editor. 2) While preforming sexual act with test subject, if you push escape you will leave, but your part of your body will ruberband to to the test subject. (you can fix this while playing by pushing the spacebar, going up the the test subject, and pushing e again then escape.) 3) Intro tips seem to restart sometimes? (Probably fixes its self while playing more into the game?) I will post more if i find anything else.

It seems to happen with imported characters from previous builds, I use custom textures, but I can make new characters using the same textures and the game is fine with it. This only happens when trying to use the custom characters as subjects, they load fine as the player character.

So I'm having an issue creating a new game in free play, I get to the choose your name screen, put in my name, and then, regardless of whether I just hit enter or I try to click submit, the game doesn't progress to creation, it's just stuck there and I can't get it to go further, or let me back out, all I can do is close it out. please advise DX

The game won't go past subject selection, just get a darkened screen, can move my character around, but can't perform any actions. **Found the problem!** The new version of the game doesn't like the way the section of the older character files look, and so hangs up when trying to load it. Open a new character and copy/paste that section over that bit in your old character files, all my old favs are working now!

Starting up a regular new game works fine. But, on the other side, the DV part where you have access to everything? It makes the game lag so much when I name my OC. It never goes past that either, it stays on that screen. Other than that, I find the game amazing. <3

MantisBT is swamped with spambots so I'm just gonna post some issues I ran into here: 1) Can't seem to give male subjects handjobs (not aroused enough despite being at full mast, same for trying to get penetrated) 2) Specimen coolers cause my framerate to tank the second I turn the camera towards them when alot of them are stacked close to each other. 3) Teasing nipples and fondling balls seem to cause subjects a lot of pain (design choice?). 4) During character generation, adding colors/decals/embellishments sometimes causes the entire list of colors/decals/embellishments to disappear (quitting to menu and reloading restores the list).

According the running through things when having a high velocity. Did you check whether Continuous collision detection (CCD) is properly enabled in that case? ^^°

Improvements over the prior versions: Some notes for you: 1) In Lab 1 doing "pleasure self" had the character raise on a platform and took the specimen up with. I edited the lab and relocated the chair and it fixed it for the next session. 2) Camera controls are horrible. 3) The game does not indicate when anything has been saved. 4) UI controls are clunky, different to figure how out to edit rooms (I eventually found it was the arrow keys to select, strange choice really) 5) After the Furry Science 3D printer got built, new subjects are always volunteers (no money) and there's only one to pick. (Pick saved ones still works). 6) You can walk through the lab door. 7) The control for the network is very easy to hit when you're trying to use the elevator. I suggest moving the network station a bit. 8) The auto talk option seems to just annoy the test subjects. 9) The conversation UI is horrible and incredibly counter-intuitive. I think you should simplify it, copy the bioware dialogue wheel or something.

Hi there, I might need a help with this one. All the previous versions set up and started great but I cannot make the game start. After the "TRY TO USE MY OLD SAVE DATA/BACKUP MY DATA THEN START FRESH" screen it just freezes and not doing anything. I tried to delete the old game data in C:\Users.....\App data....\Fek. The game then started to rebuild the game asset directory, finished it to 100% but then stucks again on screen "Please wait a moment while your game data........." Any advice, pleeeeeease? 😇 Many thanks in advance
