This is a remake(?)! The song is originally from H.O.T. AESPA did the same thing with the song "Dreams Come True" by S.E.S (all these groups are in SM ent.). As you may have already noticed the lyrics are kind of silly and that is because Jang Yong-Jin was in middle school when he wrote the song lol he was a kid and his youthful perspective and randomness is seen in the playful/innocent lyrics, fitting the vibe of the song perfectly, Especially since he was at the age when people experience their first love, it captures the feelings of first love!! (The dance seems familiar because it was featured in the HYBE Game Caterers. Yunjin (Le Sserafim) was caught not knowing the dance(again). As a result, she was asked to perform it again, and SeungKwan discovered that it had the same BPM as their debut song, (which was their only title track at the time). She danced to "Fearless" while "Candy" played in the background lol THE8 was dancing too he said he had already memorized it (he didn't) lol)

This is a remake of Candy by H.O.T, a first gen SM boygroup, this song is crazy popular in Korea. They played the H.O.T version on Game caterers for the random play dance game. The choreo also seems familiar since they used a lot of the same dance moves from the original, they actually kept the original choreo for the chrorus the same since it's just so iconic and well known.
