If you want to really experience the magic of their voices together, watch their performance at Brooklyn Steel (it's on YT.) They perform their whole EP (idk if you've heard it or not) and if you think they sound good on a recording, you'll be blown away by them live. Phoebe has some moments where she really belts (Me & My Dog and Salt in the Wound) and it's just so special.

2024-01-09 19:04:30 +0000 UTCI'm very lucky that I got to see boygenius twice this summer (in the same week!) and Letter To An Old Poet was one of my favourite experiences of the whole year. Phoebe asks that no one use their phone during it, so it's just the crowd and her, and there's a genuine feeling that you'd get elbowed for getting your phone out lol so everyone obeys. It was gorgeous live - as was the whole album! they are a trio that I'm so grateful have found each other. happy christmas guys!
