2023-01-22 21:09:49 +0000 UTCTo answer your question on what our creative process is, I am mainly a lyricist, so I sometimes write to a certain BPM, and then make the beat based on the lyrical concept and the BPM. I am also an aspiring author and have written a couple of short fiction pieces. So, when I am writing in that way I usually just write down every idea I have in a note on my phone, or a voice memo while I am getting inspired, and I can come back to connect the ideas together later. If you want a good book on editing methods/an interesting look at other people's creative processes, I suggest reading The Artful Edit. It takes you through the editing notes between F. Scott Fitzgerald and his editor Maxwell Perkins as they form The Great Gatsby together.
