BSS performed a cheerleader version of fighting and as you saw here, there is a rap part in the song, to everyone’s shock, they brought out pi cheolin as the rapper (the old man alter ego dino made up once who started out as a skit in their fan meeting and now makes lots of appearances on going seventeen literally made his award show debut💀) there truly is no one like svt, they really brought their silly lore & characters that only seventeen & carats know about TO AN AWARD SHOW😭seventeen members didn’t even know themselves, they were literally gobsmacked😩both BSS and SVT took home so many awards, then svt performed last and made that stage theirs, showing exactly why they’re called kpops performance powerhouses, while scoups watched on and danced a little from the idols seats since he’s still got a long way to go with his recovery, and then they took home the album of the year grand prize🥹 they made sure to thank jeonghan during their speeches (who is currently at home recovering from an ankle surgery)

They truly bring the fun back to kpop, also it’s worth it to note that this event had been going on for like 8 whole hours, because it’s not just for idols but actors too, everyone was so tired by the end bc it dragged but BSS came to close it out and had everyone leaving in good spirits, as they always do!! Truly the mood makers of kpop, no one is doing it like them😭their entire concept started out as just having some fun and they’re still bringing joy to everyone while using little skits & inside jokes here and there (the amount of times they say aaa in this performance lmao)

2024-01-07 09:19:51 +0000 UTCBSS is called like that because of 1. Boo (B) Seungkwan 2. Lee Seokmin (Dks real name) 3. Kwon Soonyoung (Hoshis real name). BSS debuted 2018 just for fun with “Just do it” (the third song in the performance). They came back last year and are technically 4th geb idols so they’re making also fun how they are “new” in the industry. This album “Second Wind” had three songs: 1. Fighting ft. Lee Youngji. She’s the rapper you saw and very famous in Korea for her alcohol show and winning many contest with rapping. Also she’s a die heart Seventeen fan and Hoshi is her fav so this is a dream collab. She’s one of the most entertaining women haha. Seungkwan, Hoshi, Dk & Joshua were on her alcohol show and it was hilarious. Fighting was the second song they were performing. 2. song is called Lunch in the album, it’s a upbeat song. 3. is 7Pm ft. Peder Elias (the first song they were performing). Peder is a norwegian singer who’s also famous in Korea and they became besties with him haha. The Concept of the album was to have something so start the day with (Fighting), in the middle of the day (Lunch) and to end the day (7Pm) as a motivation. It was produced by Woozi and they didn’t know that Fighting is gonna become so big. It’s an anthem now in Korea like “Just do it” was in 2018 and they got so many awards even yesterday at the GDA (Golden disc awards). The three people on the table in the beginning didn’t know anything. BSS just did it at their table. The girl is a famous actor/singer. The guy in the middle is a Japanese actor and the third guy is actor/entertainer. Hoshi was with him last year on the Show “Bro&Marble”. And yep you saw Stray Kids there, their performance was the one before BSS and is actually the second best performance after BSS. Everyone was hyped in these two performances.

2024-01-07 08:22:26 +0000 UTCIn the beginning when they started the song Fighting they said “NEW JEANS, LE SSERAFIM FIGHTING!!!” and you can hear Yunjin yell back lol. Then in the middle of the song they said “New Jeans, Le sserafim thank you!” which is probably why they kept showing the members a lot, but also both groups were vibing so much it’s a disservice not to show them. BSS joke that they’re 4th gen idols too and that they’re coming for TXT, Enhypen, Le Sserafim and New Jeans since they’re all under HYBE lol. Honestly SVT love encouraging and interacting with younger groups, so they always hype them up and give 100% of their support. Fun fact: Eunchae from Le Sserafim became an idol because of SVT. She saw them perform at a concert where a lot of big groups perform called “The Dream Concert” and she was so impressed by their performance and by carats that she realized she wanted that too. When they won Album of the year at MAMA this year she cried and she had an interview with Dino on her show “Eunchae Star Diary” where she tells him that the entire reason that she’s able to have her own show and became an idol is because of SVT and it was very wholesome.

BSS incorporated a lot of "AAA" and at one point at 12:06 when they sang "aaa~" its because theres a popular older kpop song called A by Rainbow -- they are so witty!! love them so much

Even though they don't know the song but they get entertained. If you see the fancam, DK doing something that makes some idols shocked lol. For the woman that rapping, she's Youngji. They have a good chemistry and Youngji also have her own variety and some members of Seventeen is her guest. The one that she doing with DK and Joshua is hilarious. So they called themselves the gag trio with the name booseoksoon (BSS). They took this joke so far with releasing a song (the 2nd song from the performance) in 2018 during a fanmeet. And after 5 years they realised the 1st song from this performance called "Fighting" along w their mini album in 2023. Fighting ended up being one of the most popular in KPOP in 2023. No one was expecting to become so big bcuz BSS was rly just an inside joke in Caratland, but now most of the KPOP industry luvs them ALSO: BOO: seungkwans surname SEOK: DKs real name is SEOKmin SOON: Hoshis real name is SOON = BOOSEOKSOON
