Autumn in Republic City, Page 1 [WIP Update]

Here's the WIP on this next installment of my Seasons in Republic City series. This one features Korra practicing her airbending, which will also round out my little series of Korra bending the elements that I started in February.

This has been an interesting one because it's pretty much the same concept as Giving Her a Show, but with a very different look and feel (and less horny). It's been very fun studying different LoK scenes taking place on Air Temple Island and trying to make Korra's motions look airbender-appropriate. These poses are more elegant and flowy than I'm used to doing, so it's been a challenge making everything look right.

This is the first page of a now 3-page comic. I know I originally said it'd only be two pages, but while drawing up my storyboard, I realized that if I go with my original plan of squeezing everything into two pages, the art and general feel of the comic would suffer. So, I decided to stretch it to 3 pages and allow each panel the breathing room they need.

Unfortunately, even with the time off from my job that I'll be taking at the end of the month, I'm not sure I can do all 3 pages and the next page of Korra Sandwich before the month is over. So far things are going smoothly enough, but there's a chance the next page of Korra Sandwich will get bumped to the first week of October. I'm sorry I may not be able to deliver on what I initially promised at the start of the month, but hopefully I can make up for it by giving you guys the best comics I can make.

I'll be sharing each page of the comic on Patreon as I finish them, but I won't be making them public until the comic is complete at the end of the month. You can expect the finished first page to go up in the next few days.
