The girl at the start of episode 3 is Tsubaki's grandma. To clarify this is a bit of a reboot of the 70's Jeeg since that anime ends with Jeeg's victory while this goes off him losing. Also all of Shin Jeeg's forms are wholly new for this show meaning this Marine form along with others that will show up and the Jeeg Bazooka is one of the two returning weapons from the OG anime just made bigger, the Mach Drills are the other.
