Muichiro is a direct descendant of Kokushibo, who was Yoriichi Tsugikuni's twin brother. Tanjiro's family, on the other hand, are not related to the Tsugikuni bloodline but were close friends with Yoriichi, who passed down Sun Breathing, and the famous Hanafuda earrings to Tanjiro's ancestor
