The past year has been extremely rocky for me outside of the comic up to and including a sudden drop in Patron support these past few months. I peaked at about $200 for September, 2016, but support has steadily declined since then. This month I only made $35 off of The Sprawl. I'm always open to hearing feedback so if any of you have felt the comic or patron content has been lacking lately, feel free to let me know.
In better news, I was contacted by a publisher interested in The Sprawl over the holidays and I'm working to sort that all out and make it happen. All I can say at this point is if this publisher picks it up there will be a print edition, just not in English yet.
Also, if you've been following my status upodates, I've moved out of NYC and into the boonies. I'm relying a lot more on The Sprawl, commissions and freelance work to survive, but my living expenses are also a lot lower and my new apartment is a palace compared to the 10x10' box I had in the city.
I'll also be putting advertisements on The Sprawl website soon, so if my readers could turn off adblock for the site, that will start helping me out a lot, too. All of this is so I can spend less time scrambling to pay rent, and more time putting out the comics you guys enjoy!
