Next Month's Agenda!

Hey guys!

I thought it'd be prudent to give you guys an update to what's going on right now. All my friggin' energy's on this new game at the moment, that much is certain. I'm in the process of putting in the characters in the game. I started out with Viktor, but then, he took practically the whole day to put in @.@. This is also because I'm establishing some new "standards" in the backend of things. But he and Lotte seems to be working now!

I'm working out Quinn and Fraeya at the moment. After which, I'll go through implementing Episode 1 and I'll see what kind of monster obstacles I have to slay to get through this (I expect a good number of them in the event scenes). I'll also be looking at a way to establish bgm loops in the game - from what I know right now, this is currently not available to me, and needs to be explored via programming.

I'll continue to work on the game until I put out a magical golden egg, so next month's efforts will be put into this. There's still a number of significant work that needs to be done in the backend and non-tangible of side of things such as game and story planning. This worries the crap out of me when thoughts of such things rush into my head, but don't worry, I'll figure things out.

PS: I have seen Summer in Springtime run on an Android with a Snapdragon 730 (today's $300+ mid-range phone) and it was... surprisingly fast, almost as fast as running on a PC. Or my test unit just sucks major ass in the performance department lol. So with this, I'll push through with the usual standard sizes and animations. I'll see if there are other phone models I can get my hands on, preferably a step or two down, to figure things out.
