And after having my own 24 week preemie (she will be 24 this August) I can see where the dad is coming from, but my daughter had a less than 5% chance of survival at birth, developed NEC (the thing that the baby had that they did surgery on). Her doctor told me that less than 10% of preemies live the first 24 hours following the surgery. They didn’t say that in the show, but that’s what I was told. Anyway, it is hard on relationships with having a medically dependent baby, my daughter’s father left 9 months after my daughter was born. He’s seen her twice since. So it’s hard, and he wasn’t a surgical resident at a hospital. And, yes! I love Karev! His character growth has been amazing! He can still be an ass, but pediatrics is his calling. He’s so good there! Also, I’m sorry there are still spoilers being posted. But whatever you decide to do, I fully support and understand.

It’s almost like the viewer is Christina in this episode, asking “is he cheating”? I feel like Christina has a hard time opening up to Meredith because Meredith has created essentially the “perfect” life for herself, while Christina is struggling. Such a good episode!
