Quit the job
Added 2025-07-26 19:58:45 +0000 UTCOkay, first official rule to being a member: No one is allowed to speak ill of factory workers. The bs they put up with is insane. I had no idea.
Tl:dr I've been working for almost 10 years and I have NEVER heard of "mandatory overtime!"
It's literally the one thing that made me quit. The job was fine otherwise.
The people were nice, the drive was short, and I could complete the tasks expected of me. However, having to stay an extra 6 hours weekly, past the 40 hour mark? For the amount I was being paid? I can't see myself doing that every single time. I'm sure some of you guys can stay on your feet for that long, but I'm not built for it. I really tried, and it took it's toll on me.
Anyways. Back to the hunt. Expect more updates soon, animation-wise or personal

They kept expecting me to stay longer for overtime, but they wouldn't tell me beforehand. There were times when it could be expected, to where a forward notice wasn't needed. But that wasn't for every time. But there were times when I had something scheduled, such as a medical appointment, and they couldn't keep me longer. But I still lost the job anyway later. Something that they didn't train me well for happened, and they blamed me. I hope you can get a new job just as fast, or faster, this time. One that's more fair in its work load.
