- They're the ones responsible for the time loop. Because of this they live multiple, multiple lives and grow more powerful as they continually train.
- The Edge of Sanctuary (the two statues that have that weird transdimensional-like gate inbetween them) is one of the Castmaster's sanctuaries that hold some of their history. These special sanctuaries survive the time resets.
- Castmasters are well aware of Despond and the dragons. The Castmasters are very interested in learning Despond's methods of exiting and entering higher planes of existence.
- The staff is Castmaster Luxuria (2/7) conversing with Lokalia remotely. There are 7 Castmasters, but only 2 are active right now.
- Castmasters created The Shadow of the Sun.
