October Update

Greetings, everyone!
It’s time for the monthly status update. As some of you may have noticed, my optimistic estimates have once again not stood the test of time. However, progress has been steady, and we’re now close to wrapping up this update.

Let me give you an overview of what’s done, what’s left, and what the current timetable looks like.

🖋️ Writing

We’re 99% done. Even Stella's trice damned date is now complete!
I’m still waiting for one final Akari scene, but all other scenes are written.

The total word count for this update alone currently stands at around 175,000 words.

While implementing the scenes, there may be a few small writing tasks left — short connector lines between major scenes — but those are quick to finish.

👉 I expect all writing tasks to be completed by the end of next week.

🎨 Art

We’ve been keeping up on the art side alongside the writing.
All new character sets are finished, and hundreds of special action images have already been implemented.

Overall, I’d estimate that 90–95% of the required art is done.

One of the current tasks is to finalize the last scenes — they’re already formatted for Ren’Py, but images still need to be properly implemented and scaled.

👉 I expect this to be done within one to two weeks at most.

💻 Coding

After each scene is built, it must be integrated into the game’s structure — adding triggers for when each scene can be accessed, and defining what changes occur once it’s completed.

Since this is an open-world update (and by far the biggest one yet), I estimate that this stage will take about a week once all scenes are ready.

👉 After that, we’ll compile a playtest version.

🧩 Other Remaining Tasks

There are a few things still left, which may or may not make it into this update.
My plan is to include whatever can be finished without delaying the update further — since I’ll be the one implementing everything into the code, it depends a bit on how much I can dump on my team.

🥊 Boss Fight #2

Currently, we have one major boss fight against the Reapers.
I’d really like to add a second boss fight, as it ties neatly into the upcoming villain arc.

Since the first boss appears around the midpoint of the update, a second one would let us design a fight that uses all the new skills and combat mechanics the girls have learned.

Of all optional content, this one is the most important — it will most likely make it in (even if as late as the testing phase).

🎥 Animated Lifting Scenes

Animated lifting scenes would be great to have, but they’re not crucial enough to delay the update.
They’ll likely be added in a later patch instead.

🗺️ Tactical Map

At some point, I’d like to add a concept for Gina’s armies.
The idea of using them to conquer and defend parts of Burlingfort was originally meant for Act 4, but it would be nice to introduce the system earlier — even just a small preview.

Why now? Reason is that right now the 'growth' element is most prominent as the Velvet Vanguard is just now starting to transform from a bunch of defenceless women into an Amazon Army. So if even just a few territories would be accessible, but some are defended, Gina would need to strengthen her armies (quite literally in a FMG game!) before expanding further.

While I’d love to include this sooner rather than later, I won’t delay the update for it.
A new team member is currently working on the feature — whether it’s ready in time or not won’t affect the update’s release schedule.

Can't wait to see how strong Gina is at level 6. She could probably easily fold a coin multiple times in on itself. Also, Not sure if it was ever mentioned before giving how text heavy the game is , but has Gina ever tried to do pinky or thumb push ups with one hand before.

i can see this update is in finish line honesty i want to play like now but i dont want a update not finished i can wait another month or 2,3 go to your speed and not stress anywere gg guys i looking forward to plays this update :)
