"Want something to drink while you wait? Some snacks maybe?"

Text: Done, everything is written and implemented.

Images: All accounted for, still need a bit of polish. Some still need to be implemented properly.

Code: Written, but needs some extensive testing.

I really thought, that if I'd become better at AI-Image-Generation, my work would be faster done. Sadly the very opposite is true. While earlier I simply accepted poor images (Does he have two mustaches? Eeeh, I'm sure no one will notice..) because I missed the ability to correct them, this is no longer true. So the image-quality will be better of course, but it all takes quite some time. Still, the images should all be finished till the end of next week.

Testing the code is now the dark horse. My old code of Version 1 would barely be worthy of the word. Simple variable handling, jump- and image-commands. This was easy. The code used in combat is on the other hand dabbling quite a bit into Python and is in comparison much, much more complex. Still, the combat-code works as a stand-alone already, only thing left should hopefully be proper implementation with the rest of the game.

That's all. You'll hear from me in a week with a release or some bad excuses. Have a nice time.

Kinda nice having people worried already 😅Burning out is hopefully still very far in the future, but I admit that this thing is getting a bit big for me. I mean, combat was always in my original vision and considering this game was started as my project to learn python, this was my chance on actually trying to do some proper coding. Still having the naive hope of finding myself a partner at some point, but for the time being already I have some wonderful people helping out by writing text-snippets, teaching me SD or fixing my messy code.

When you started this project, I'll be honest, I didn't expect a combat system to ever be in the game. Don't get me wrong, this is great. I just hope this project doesn't get too big, too quickly, and you get burned out or something.
