Despite it only being two hours from Philly, New York City has been one of the hardest places for me to get to and work in for as long as I have been taking photos. I think its the difficulty in finding a place to shoot, and when I'm home the last thing I want to do is take a four hours trip north to an even busier/bigger bustling metropolis. I like to sit at my computer and get work done, rather than adding to the pile.
This means I actually rarely work with some incredibly talented models though, and Lorelei Black is one of those that I have admired from not so far for a very long time. Over the years she would be in Philly, and I would not be, and Vice Versa, but with the big move to Seattle fast approaching we finally managed to cross paths and create some amazing photos as Temperance came to a close.
Working with Lorelei was everything I had hoped it would be. She is absolutely amazing to work with, and really came up with some tremendous poses that kept me running all around the room looking for new angles, and moving mirrors every which way. These were all shot with my Sigma 50mm F1.4.
