Skyhook and Aniston Suicide for Temperance

Shooting multiple models for Temperance is definitely my favorite.  I like the sort of frozen chaos you can create using the mirrors, and incredibly low depth of field.  It feels more story telling, the results more voyeuristic.

Skyhook and Aniston have shot together a few times before, and their ability to pose together is really fantastic.  I didn't have to do very much in terms of direction to get awesome photos.  The only real difficult part is having the models the right distance from the mirror, and adjusting the angle of the mirror, to get the right shot.  Images like the above where nothing is cut off are created by solving a crazy puzzle pin pointing the exact spot in the room where an image can be taken, and adjusting everything accordingly.

I shot this entire set with my 85mm F1.4 on a Canon 5d MK II at F1.4 and ISO 320.  I sort of have to adjust my ISO for this series based on how close to the light source (the ceiling) the models are.

I loved shooting this set. Thanks so much for making such pretty images with us! <3

It is a pretty small space. I think something like 12x18 Feet. the only reason I am able to use the longer zoom lenses is that the size of the room is basically doubled as far as focal distance is concerned by shooting into mirrors.

Another very beautiful and erotic photoset. Really love these shots. How large is the space that you shoot Temperance in? I have had a difficult time utilizing my 85mm (f 1.8) Prime lens indoors. It can be a challenging lens to use - Mine is a 20 year old Opteka lens, totally manual. I love it but it can be challenging indoors in smaller spaces.
