Photographing intimacy is such a tricky thing to do. There is a constant debate about what is porn vs what is art, and really it all comes down to the individual. For a long time I thought that the line was obvious. Then I discovered photographers like Jan Saudek, Aeric Meredith Goujon, Gilles Berquet, and it all sort of became a blur to me.Now the banality of pop music and reality TV is more pornographic to me than most erotica. Photographs of sex can transmit so much more emotion than much of what has mass appeal. Anything created with the sole intention of shutting down thought...pointless distractions. I know that most people won't see my work like that. Even my outdoor nudes are likely considered porn by many, so it doesn't hurt me to take a risk, and shoot something that pushes my work further one way or another.Vaunt and I decided we wanted to start shooting more intimate photos. This is the beginning of something, and we don't really know where it will go.These are shot in the set for Temperance and are certainly part of that series, but we will be branching out more as time goes on.https://www.dropbox.com/sh/apudcy2nr0fzf8h/AACGSKQnTUdeJ-hWgGsghpJia?dl=0
