Poll results & upload time for The Eternal Seeker Saga
Added 2021-11-02 16:15:06 +0000 UTCAlright, so the poll results are pretty clear. Out of 29 votes,
18 have been for 1 chapter to be released every day, until all the chapters are uploaded.
6 have been for 2 chapters a week, until all the chapters have been posted.
5 have been for all the chapters to be posted in a single batch.
Thus, starting the 3rd of november, 1 chapter of the Eternal Seeker saga will be released every day at 10 pm UTC (23h CET, 6 pm EDT), until the chapters run out, which currently it would on the 15th of november, wiht 13 chapters in total.
Which brings me to a point I would like to discuss. You'll notice that there is one more chapter than a few days ago. And in fact, you'll come to notice that chapters for this story will probably be written at a much faster pace than those for The Fallen World : A Dungeon's Story. There are many reasons for that, but the simplest one is that I've been writing for that universe for 9 years. For The Fallen World, every time I introduce a nation, a new geopolitical or historical anecdote, ect, I have to create it. For this story, I can draw from the massive amount of lore I have written over almost a decade. To give an example, I have more lore written for the Infinite Systems Federation and it's member states in The Eternal Seeker saga than I have for the entirety of The Fallen World, and it's not even close. Plus, there is a degree of familiarity with that universe that lets me write far more easily than for anything else, as I basically know every core technology and political agreement by heart at this point.
Sorry for the slight rambling, but I know someone was going to remark upon it eventually, and might even think that I am abandonning The Fallen World : A Dungeon's Story, so let me make that clear : I. Am. Not. But this story is much easier for me to write, and thus will be written at a much faster pace as every hour dedicated to it will be more productive text wise.
With that out of the way, see you tomorrow !
