Hey guys,
First, I want to apologize for not sprinkling some extra Lackadaisy art in this month like I usually do between major updates. My primary working machine has been crashing on me 3-4 times a day, resulting in a lot of lost work and lost time. The crashing isn't an entirely new development, but lately, it's more frequent, and trying to get the computer to boot back up properly has also become a problem. I've been relying on restore points to keep me going the past few weeks as the crashes mess up my software/licensing/registry so badly, the machine is left largely useless afterward. It's maddening...and it's just a matter of time before reverting and redoing Windows 10 updates makes this situation untenable.
So...I finally caved and purchased some new hardware to replace the crash-box. I have a couple large things in the pipeline and I should still be on track to share at least one of them at the end of this month.
------------------------------
In the meantime, I'm sharing some art I did a little while back for a TICA affiliated show-cat event. The group specifically requested something Lackadaisy-esque with a playing card theme, and this was the result (for a color-limited print process).
My publisher wanted me to show this to you because they would like to gauge interest in a new Lackadaisy t-shirt design. It'd be a small, limited run with art of this relative nature and level of detail. Because of the way the printer works, Patrons would have the option to pick their own t-shirt color from a pretty wide array of options too.
Any thoughts? Is anyone interested?
