Hi,

after having made most of the assets and some of the base anims, I am integrating Nimhe's quest today.

Story:

Out of luck after her illegal sexbot AI sideline has been taken down, Nimhe is reluctantly willing to join you, once you've made yourself a bit of a name and equipped your ship properly...

For technical reasons save-game use and continue across releases is not possible without major negative side effects. That was the reason for the "radial" approach. I'll work in parallel on some "dimensional portal", that allows you to send credits and parts into another universe (a.k. the next version). Need to figure out how to transfer it 'locally' accross versions (don't want to make the game networked / netlinked)

In any case, the approach for the first versions of SJX is to expand the story not linear but sort of radially. That means every new release will have new mechanics, scenes etc. also in the early game parts, which makes replaying necessary, but hopefully not boring.
