Proof of Life #207: A good week spent on the main quest
Added 2024-01-15 14:06:04 +0000 UTCHeya, you humans and other lizard people, how are you doing in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? Already two weeks into the new year, wow! At this rate, it'll be December 2024 before we realize it. Still, even though time flies by, I've managed to do a decent chunk of work during the past seven day.
I won't go into too much details for fear of spoilers, but I have one long-ish Cyanna scene done and tested, and I'm slowly working towards two additional scenes: one still with Cyanna again, and the other with Rose. I want those scenes to have proper build-up, and I also want to use every opportunity I can from having so many characters stuck in the same space, so there have been a few times when I had to just sit in front of my laptop screen and just think hard about how I really wanted things to unfold, and how each conversation should go. And now, at last, I have most things planned out, even the extra scene. Heck, as I was writing this PoL, I even came up with a few new ideas to implement.
Anyway, as with most build-up, there are going to be a few dialogue scenes back to back, but I tried to keep them to the point, added some more sexy stuff to go along with it, and even commissioned a new artwork to illustrate one of said dialogue. You'll see what I'm talking about once the update is out.
That's it for this PoL! Not a whole lot to say, but at least it'll keep you informed about what I'm doing. I'll see you next Monday.

Oh, the free roams don't have to even be from the main cast, this is a good chance for the side characters to shine.

2024-01-15 20:29:59 +0000 UTCThe idea right now is to finish the party, and then work on Haylen's quest as much as I can until we get to the planned release date. If I can't finish it, well, it'll be for next update : )

2024-01-15 17:12:32 +0000 UTCNot working on any scenes right now, more like in-between as I'm done with Cyanna's and working toward more of them. Freeroams are actually harder to implement in this party, especially with main characters. Lily and Cyanna are out of the question, and everything that would be freeroam-worthy with Rose or Cyanna I'd rather show it directly in the story. I will try to include a few where I can.

2024-01-15 15:53:04 +0000 UTCIt's great to hear that the main storyline is progressing, but it looks like there's still some work to be done before the banquet event ends, lol Will there be Helen's personal story in this update? To be honest, I personally think that as long as it can complete the main story, it is enough. If completing Helen's plot update will delay the original release time, then it is a good idea to leave it for next time.
