It’s very specific that the first thing that Denji did of his own physical autonomy in the scene with Makima was jump back, everything else she physically did to him. The end credits imagery are illusions and brain tricks, the infinite stairs are the most recognizable, I think I’ve seen a few others like in a documentary about optical illusions or in science at school
