But despite all that, the fighting continued. As the war dragged on, years on end, many soon forgot why they were fighting in the first place, it was simply either fight the enemy, or be killed first be them. It was only after entire cities were destroyed when the war finally ended. Neither side could truly call themselves the victor. While some may say the war ended with each side being in a similar spot as before, with little to no permanent gains having been achieve, but this was not the case. While the war had been devastating to both sides, it had hit many of the Keidran worse. While the War was mostly fought in the mountains and the hills surrounding them, it was the bombing raids from the Humans that shifted the tide, it left the main armies of the Western Keidran Empire without supplies or weapons. Despite their massive numbers, it left them unable to fight. But the worse effect this had was when the eventual peace treaty came around. The soldiers that returned found they had no jobs, no homes, nothing to come back to. Their economy was left all but no existent. Eventually this would lead to disagreements, as the current leaders used this situation to benefit them. They capitalized on the terrible situations, making the issues even worse for the people. Soon infighting with the Keidran leaders, blew apart this scam, and lead to the fracturing the the Western Keidran empire. The split of the nation led to More Choas. It tuned village against village, tribe against tribe. But it would be the Motherland that brought it together, our glorious Red Army that stands here today that saved us. Once again, we stand alone. Our allies in the East have abandoned Us. Those in the North have Betrayed Us We are left to hold back those who oppose us, those who have always opposed us. We cannot let those past acts of aggression go unanswered. We will hit their allies. We will strike what they hold dear. We will strike at their culture, and their history, and then we will strike at them.
