The Soldier has always been deemed a brutal and rude man at the first sign. Yet, despite this impression, he knew how to handle his girls. He was only cruel by appearance and with punishments. When he was left alone with the girl, his style of talking changed, and he was much softer. Nune was surprised how much he knew about the surrounding world and what stories he could tell them. She liked how he touched her, and she remembered pleasure and excitement during some of the training. Suddenly, the Soldier leaned closer to her. She could feel his breathing on her skin. Nune knew him as "Soldier," but she heard First Slave calling him with name.
