Yeah the difference in power in terms of the raw fruits themselves is insane, but its incredible that luffy can make an almost useless fruit into such a powerful one by creating incredible abilities that enable him to stand on that level of power.

Marineford is essentially the climax of the entire first half of the Grand Line, with every arc giving us either information or a character that would later become important for Marineford. Reverse Mountain is when we first learned about Baroque Works (Crocodile, Bon Clay, Mr. 3, etc), Drum Kingdom is where we learned Gold Roger was actually Gol D. Roger, Jaya/Skypeia was Blackbeard's and Doflamingo's first appearances, Long Ring Long Land introduced Aokiji, and most of the others are pretty obvious. And just like at Louge Town (climax of East Blue), Luffy is faced with an enemy/enemies that he has no hope of defeating, but gets through it with outside help

The Marines are considered good because to regular citizens they protect them. IMO Coby is a good example of your average low-rank Marine in that they want to help and protect people. also, pirates are for the most part bad, attacking and pillaging towns, people like Luffy, Whitebeard, etc make up the minority of pirates. whereas marines like Coby make up the majority unfortunately that majority is all low ranked and only really know about what they see. The last point the good marines who know about the corrupt stuff and stay must have a reason to believe that being a marine is still better in terms of helping/protecting the people examples of that would be Garp, Koby, Smoker, Aokiji they are morally good people but they still are apart of the marines because being apart of them allows them to do more good.

It's just different because it's not separate sagas anymore but one giant mega saga made of several sagas building up to Wano lMr Morj explains it really well in one of his analysis videos)! I firmly believe that the OP community and even Oda are excited for Wano because it's the equivalent of Water Seven/Enies Lobby and Marineford now!

in the manga there was no Ace in Arabasta as long as he was in anime but instead of that in the manga there was a cover story dedicated to Ace (about how he searched for Blackbeard) which was not screened

Even if One Piece kinda just gets better from now, I will warn you, it's gonna be slow for a while before it slowly picks up again. I don't think you will be disappointed tho, but some viewers will say it's slow. But that's just because they came straight from Marineford, the story is always great!

Before he joined the Whitebeard team, he wore a T-shirt, but as soon as he got Whitebeard's mark on his back, he practically did not wear any T-shirts so as not to hide this symbol. Even after 15+ years and countless re-watches and re-reads, this moment stijll gets me every time. I remember waiting weekly for the manga thru this arc and telling myself "It's cool, Oda never actually kills off anyone. If Pell got to live Ace will be fine." Looking foreward to the next video. ^^

I think after the next like... 2-3 Upcoming arcs, you should be good to start looking for merch (mainly 2). There's still the risk of things like s couple new power-ups or outfits in new arcs though, but like you said a lot of the merch is from later and you're damn near at "later" after marineford

The first and only time after watching marine Ford I stopped watching the show for 3 months cause I was so angry and heartbroken then when I got to wano I got angry again and stopped after the first 2 episodes now I'm back in water 7 slowly rewatching it

Twice I have watched One Piece from the beginning to the current episode. First in 2007 (i was 16 then) when I first discovered it while watching random Anime openings on YouTube. Started my second round from beginning when I introduced it to my girlfriend in 2011. I now watch new episode every Sunday with my now wife, after we put our son to bed. I'm on my third run watching with you. With all the other reactors I've only wanted to watch important moments from, but with you I've watched every episode from the beginning on Youtube, and when I caught up on Thriller Bark, subscribed here. One Piece truly is a once in a lifetime story, and I love watching your videos of it.

As someone who started and binged OP 11 years ago when i watched it it was that way for me for several arcs. When arlong park came along, i fell in love with the series, and the deep seeded emotion behind it. Then came alabasta when that happened i thought how could this be topped, and it wasnt.. Until enies lobby/water7. You start to think that arc was so powerful and so emtional and aturning point for the series, the strawhats are getting stronger and rising to the challenge. And nothing before and nothing after tops it, until you get to the summit war/marineford arc. Considered by many to be the best arc in one piece and nothing after it could compare. Without spoilers, dressrosa gets close in my opinion. Ive been watching one piece weekly since the end punk hazard and started reading the manga since dressrosa, and in the past 11 years nothing in the show tops marineford. Until wano. Wano is now the show stopper. It tops everything. At least until probably the closing and resolution of the story of onepiece. Without spoilers, everything in the show post fishman island is building towards wano, the punk hazard and dressrosa arcs, the zou arc. It all looks forward and builds up/hypes up wano. And with everything going on in the manga with wano it is now 100% without a doubt in my mind the best arc in one piece. We have been waiting for it for over 10 years since marineford, and it has not dissapointed, it lives up to its reputation. Similar to marine ford where you have sabody, amazon lily and impel down all building up to the summit war. All this to say just because the show isnt constantly out doing itself and one uping each and every arc doesn't mean that the journey and the ride is any less enjoyable. There are hype moments and amazing things that happen in every arc, even some most People dont like (think thriller bark.) So sit back and enjoy the journey, and i hope to be watching it with you in the end.
