Spiritualism ‘101’ How To Dispose Of Offerings

Spiritualism ‘101’ How To Dispose Of Offerings

Good morning moon babes! Today is treacherous (dramatic maybe but also not at all lol) due to the impending tiktok ban - HOWEVER yesterday on livestream I had a few of you guys asking for more “ Back To Basic” type posts on this page and wanted to get into that for you guys! Let me know in the comments what else you want explained / broken down and I can add onto this “101” series!

For today we are starting with spiritual offerings and how to properly dispose of them when they are done. The method you want to choose will correlate with what spell/ritual/ item/ or spirit and Deity you laid the offerings for and what kind they are - this post hopefully will help guide you with what to do but ultimately, listen to your spirits and intuition when disposing.

Burry it:

Lots of offerings when given back to the earth continue to feed both your spirits and yourself, if you gave your ancestors physical food you can always bury it after 24 hours, same with pouring their water libations outside or even in a potted plant in your home.

The location of where you are going to bury the offering depends on the spell, if you were doing money work you can do this at a bank or crossroads, if you are doing love workings tie it to the base of a tree thats roots are growing together, looking for road opening bury the offerings after they are done at the crossroads and leave another water libation for the spirits there as you go. (don't turn back when finishing, just bury then go back to your car and go home.)

Throw it away:

This method really is only for items that are not biodegradable and are not safe for the earth -

Bring to crossroads:

Some things do not need to be buried at the crossroads but can be taken from your altar and left there, similarly to the water option below. If you are laying flowers, herbs, wine, water and such and you are looking for blessings and opportunities instead of burying the offerings outside you can bring it to the crossroads after them being on your altar for 24 hours and place them gently on the side near the crossroads.

Into a body of water:

This is one of my favorite ways to dispose of things, also very good when you are working cleansings, removals, reversals, and banishing rituals because the running water truly rushes the energy and negativity away from you and your home / immediate city. So with anything biodegradable you can bring your offerings to the ocean and pray as you throw the offerings into the waves. This can work in rivers as well - PLEASE be  mindful about what you are throwing in the water and overall in the planet at all.

This is bonus points when its a banishment because you can banish the energy or spirit to the depths of the ocean.

Consume it:

In some situations you can consume offerings after they have been energetically consumed by your spirits. This has to be discussed between you and your spiritual team before you lay the offerings and remember your food safety.

There are other ways to dispose of offerings for sure and you can 10000% get creative depending on what your items are but these are the main ones we speak about the most in the spiritual community. I hope this short breakdown is informational and helps those of you who are not sure!

XOXO

Love this so much and looking forward to this series! Could we get a 101 on making wards, how to know when/if they’ve been hit, how to dispose etc? 💕
