Prompto didn't realise too much caffeine could have such a negative affect. It was finals week and he desperately needed to get good grades. Staying up every night with the help of energy drinks and black coffee and not nearly as much much food as he should be having.
It all culminated in a very literal shock to his system.

Yessss, it was mentioned during the stream - but quite often in the process you end up breaking the breast bone SO Noct possibly did that. And then - if they werent able to fix these things with a potion - everytiem after when Prom would wince, Noct would think about whether he could have done it differently. Maybe he was too harsh.
