Weekly Update - 236 - 9/16/24

I'm writing this post on Friday the 13th. Huh.

You know I've always considered Friday the 13th to be a lucky day. Luck, I believe, is very much a perspective, more than anything. When one pays more attention to the good things that happen today, rather than only noticing the bad ones, it makes a big difference!

ANYWAY! I scheduled it to post on the 16th because I don't know how good internet will be on a boat in the ocean. And I don't like typing on my phone anyway. So I'm posting this from the past! Spooky!

Anyway! Like I said last week, I'm on a trip this week! So no comic. We're coming back on the 22nd, so... I think I might be able to get a comic up NEXT week? We'll have to see. It's hard to plan out that far ahead without knowing what else could happen between now and then. I'm already in the past, writing about the future, so writing about the future of the future is like... whoa. That's just way too many levels of complexity. Where's Kiera when you need her?

Oh! I can talk about some TTRPG news! Last week... (week before last? Now I've confused myself.) anyway at some point on the the recent timeline I've been hammering pretty hard on the prototype. The next goal is to just release the full prototype manual, complete with all my rambling and its remaining not-quite-but-almost-finished subsystems. So... when I'm back from the trip, maybe a few weeks after that? Give or take? I'll be posting the complete system (or what I have of one so far) in all its glory here on Patreon to the $10 tier and up.

So there's that, and hopefully I'll have some sketches to post for you guys when I get back as well. Assuming I remembered to bring my sketchbook on the boat, which is like, I definitely SHOULDN'T FORGET that.

So since this is the future, let's pretend I already remembered. :3
