I was harsh on this film initially. While i still have my doubts regarding some plot holes and messiness throughout the movie, it as a whole has grown on me a lot. The visuals in this film are absolutely incredible, the display of varying power from each eternal is very cool, and it was refreshing to get a completely different type of MCU movie then we have seen before. Seeing a fellow Irishman, Barry Keoghan (Druig) using our Dublin accent in a blockbuster MCU movie was also cool for me. Top tier reaction as always Stef!

2025-09-24 00:05:38 +0000 UTCGotta remember, the eternals have been around for 7,000 years. It's confusing, but the stuff happening in this movie is just way beyond The Avengers. Also the "new Avengers" stuff takes place a fair bit after this. This movie was an attempt to introduce things from the comics that haven't been seen at all in the MCU before, so being lost and uncertain about it all is perfectly reasonable.
