Lilith WIP 3, some texture nonsense

Working on giving her some natural blush, been doing some research on how skin tones and blood flow work and stuff like that. Looks better already, more "alive", but has some minor issues I'd like to iron out. Namely the hands, eyes, and upper lip areas. I also re-adjusted some of the lighting for the final preview animation, which you'll get to see later.

In order, the images are the current model, before painting blush, and with the blush layer changed from 18% opacity to fully opaque, then the image texture of each. You'd be surprised at how much raw red, yellow, and blue there is in skin tones. It's extremely subtle when overlaid but makes a huge difference in perception of "life". Monotone skin looks dead, lifeless, or waxy unless in a context where all colors are flat, like some more stylized 2D styles.
