BRUSHTOBER // gouache paintings
Added 2020-10-30 11:40:03 +0000 UTCIt's the final week of brushtober and so I've been painting in gouache! This is definitely my medium. It can be watered down but also be more opaque and so it has the best of all worlds in my opinion! I think this paint allows me to use the same techniques that I use in my digital art, so I'm most comfortable with it. I'll be making one more gouache painting (I'll film my process for it as well) and then wrapping up brushtober. It's been quite an adventure! Wish me luck in making one last painting for this challenge!!

I am surprise in the second one (without the pumpkins), the sketch is more apparent and I though gouache was more opaque. It gives a nice dynamic touch anyway. I have the feeling gouache is really popular right now and it is so cool to see so much amazing works with it. I never tried, but I am starting to want to haha XD
