I recorded the process of the acrylic portrait I posted earier today! This one is sped up 2x, you can slow it up or speed it down by clicking on the gear button and adjusting the speed there.
Here is the final portrait in case you missed the last post:

The process for making this one was rough, I was pretty sure it wasn't going anywhere until the last 10 minutes or so. She goes through a lot of whacky phases haha. But as many have pointed out, acyrlics can be layered on top of one another, so there were opportunites to 'fix' previous steps! Hope you guys enjoy this one!
thanks! i gotta say I felt like the art was heading in an awful direction but at a certain point it turned around and I was always pleasantly suprised by that, lol.

wow if this is sped up and is more than half an hour, i guess the original was at least 1 hour of painting and recording.. i checked by curiosity and in 4k is really a lot of gb... to transfer that in the computer must take forever mustnt it?

thank you! it is still a harrowing process to go through but I've found ways to use some of my digital painting tricks in this painting process!

watercolor for sure! it's very meditative to use. but I'm doing gouache this week and I have the feeling that gouache has the best of all the mediums.

i'm recording with the iphone! i have an 11 pro and my main reason for getting it was the camera. it can film in 4K which makes it easy to zoom in on a process video later!

Wow, it seems like you are getting comfortable with acrylics! You are a true artist, Lois! This is amazing and it looks a lot like your digital portraits. Magical!
