Hey guys! I've been slowly working on a new Ante model after Christmas and I figured I'd share what I've been up to since things have been quiet here (expect one animation here soon and hopefully a few more during the month! I'm in workaholic mode). I honestly was never really satisfied with the last Ante model, no matter how much I tweaked it. So far, I'm really liking this one! On top of being a dang cutie, I plan to rig this version of Ante for same-size vore, since I'm much more of a switch when it comes to vore these days. Also, I have an animation commission in my queue involving Ante eating somebody. >;9
I've also been slowly printing out the many large pieces needed for me to make a fursuit out of this new Ante. The last Ante and my Ante fursuit were 2 different models, but hopefully when you see me at cons this year, I'll look like I jumped right out of my animations or VRchat!
I've attached some screenshots of the models I'm using to make the fursuit. Let me explain them a bit! I start with a sculpt of the head, I use that to make a mold, and make sure it fits with a 3D scan of my face. I'm trying something new this time by printing out a piece that will go between the two molds and create an air channel to the nostrils, as well as a mouth cavity and places to keep batteries. I haven't tried this before. I just hope it won't be hard to take out of the finished mold. I'll probably attach the interior fleece to this mold in order to fuse it to the foam on the inside and make it easier to demold. I've designed the nose to use a fan to intake air through the nostrils. I may even try to make the fan fade up and down as if the head is breathing to make the noise that'll be coming from my nose sound a bit more natural.
So yeah! New Ante for a new year. :D I'll be animating some new stuff soon, so keep an eye out for that, as well! Thanks everyone for supporting me!
