In today's session we will be expanding your knowledge of blues rhythm options as we learn to employ "approach chords" to a standard 12 bar progression in the key of A.This technique involves modulating a half step above or below the desired chord, creating subtle dissonance or tension throughout the progression. This is great, Rob. Love these approach chords and how they work with the 12 bar. The rhythm alternatives at the end really intrigue me. Any chance for a lesson that's a sampler of blues rhythms even just using the power chords? I fell like I'm limited to the standard blues rhythms and would love to learn more sophisticated blues sounds. Thanks for another cool lesson.
