These photos are really important to me. 🥹

I know I’ve posted about playing Bitey before, but I was really excited to bring it to the slumber party.

Anna and I locked arms and bared teeth, bit each other while we made eye contact. I liked it when she squeezed her eyes shut wincing. She won in the end, I tapped out. (I always do. I get nervous I’m going to hurt somebody.)

Anna noticed my crooked teeth made a unique bite-mark, something only lovers and family would know. She pointed out that in hers you could see the gap between her front teeth. And something about this tiny vulnerability, this kindred forensic connection, struck me right in the heart.

So here are our imperfect bite marks, and our happy faces. I love being in a room full of weird girls.
