I Feel You Linger in the Air | Episode 5

Totally agree, they do it very well in this series. But that's because there is shooting time for the script to develop well and the relationships between all the characters to deepen. Of course, the episodes are more than an hour long, but not only do I not find it long, but it also allows to have in-depth secondary characters who all have important roles and are related to the main romance between Jom and Khun Yai. It also implies a sufficiently large budget... The longer the filming time of a film or series, the more expensive it is... I remember seeing an "international" presentation of the series at the time it started... The producers and directors of the series showed their desire for this budget to be used for Thai "soft power"... To make foreigners want to take an interest in Thai culture and history... I think that this screenplay that takes the time to develop all the characters in an "organic way", as you say, is a success from this point of view...

I really love the way all the relationships develop and interact in this series so organically. Jom and Ming, Jom and Prik, and a bunch of future ones as well (both including Jom and not). And then of course Jom and Yai! I love when a series gives time and care to all the relationships, not just the main romantic one. I feel like when they can do that well, then you especially know the romance will be handled well too!

I think the time-traveling is done in a very clever way, tying in the haunted house aspect. With the wind shifting and doors slamming, it somehow feels more natural to me than how it is portrayed in other shows and movies. Plus, this show is just so cinematically beautiful, so atmospheric and dreamy. It feels like a fairy tale at times.
