They want everyone dehumanized so we can all feel nothing when other humans are beaten, loaded into vans, throttled or disappeared for no reason. The end game of dehumanization is indeed genocide. There's no way to sugar-coat it. The point of EM's vendetta against empathy is so nobody cares about any of his 11 baby-mamas, or any former Tesla or X employees, or any person you have been convinced is less-than. There really is such a short path between "I don't care about my neighbor" to "Load them all into the oven". So again, what Cody is arguing for is to not lose your ability to be a human who cares about others.
