Late comment on an old post but hey don’t worry about it. Remember the story during the police brutality episode where a college student was assaulted on video then the case was dropped? Im that student. Anyways, here’s an update; the case was heard again, and the judge dismissed any felony wrongdoing but allowed the misdemeanors to proceed. The DA then refilled a third time asking for the felonies to be reinstated. The court has not made a decision yet and is still collecting documents. In the mean time I also filed a civil suit against the officer and others.
