About 6 years ago my mom (huge anti-trumper) moved from a liberal east coast town to a conservative mountain town in Colorado (literally, lauren boebert's district) to be closer to my sister after she had a baby. She had to go through COVID and the 2020 election with a bunch of qanon neighbors. Even with all that, she was able to build a network of people she loves and trusts and loves being a part of her community there. She's even been able to meet and organize with local democrats in her area. There are things she misses about her old life, but now considers that town to be her home. If she can do it, so can you!
