I sometimes feel lucky to live in a state that is so aggressively red that I can just not worry about who I vote for on a national level. My vote in Missouri for president is not worth the paper it’s printed on. Nevertheless, it is infuriating to as a citizen of this country to have these be the options that are put in front of us.

Literally everything I got from Hillary was Donald Trump is a big fat bully who hates women. Yeah. And? I am very, very tired of being patient. I have been told to be patient about climate change. I have been told to be patient about fixing health care. I have been told to be patient with regard to social issues like racism, LGBTQ rights, equal pay for people of color and women. I have been told to be patient about a living wage, income inequality, and ridiculous CEO pay levels. I am 40 years old, and I don't want to be patient anymore. Incrementalism doesn't work. The ratchet effect is a thing. I am going to vote for Biden because Donald Trump is the worst, but it is so fucking frustrating that the DNC has made it so clear that they are more concerned with wooing moderate Republicans than progressives. It is insulting and offensive.
