The point of Joel's death that I think most reactors misunderstood because I keep hearing people say "Joel didn't deserve this" but the point of his death wasn't that he didn't deserve it because in all actuality he actually very much DOES deserve it, the point is that Ellie didn't deserve to see him like that, Ellie didn't deserve it but Abby also didn't deserve to walk in on her father's brains on the floor either. Violence begets Violence but this particular chain of violence was started by Joel NOT Abby. Also thank you for pointing out how Abby didn't have a proper way of dealing with her grief because she didn't get to go to therapy or nothing like that. As a non game player I will say depending on how the writers handle her character after this, Abby might end up being my favorite character.

This is the end of TLOU, rest is a different story, but i enjoy it just as much, for different reasons. It is sad that Joel had to go for that story to be told but hope you guys also enjoy it.

Marlene was Ellie’s mother’s friend and helped raise her. Joel kinda walked her cross the country reluctantly and decided he was gonna wild out to replace his daughter.

I just wish they didn’t make so many ridiculous things happen that ruins the immersion for me just so the plot moves forward. I mean abby’s group is struggling to reach joel and the second abby is in trouble out of everyone in the huge town the person that saves her is joel? Plus abby’s group who are pretty much on an assassination mission pull up with no mask, using real names, wearing identifying logos, and leaving behind witnesses just so the rest of the plot can happen. Dina and ellie should be dead and the story should be over based on everything that was shown
