Sitan: sketches

Just want to rest from the screen for a bit~

And, I guess, there's some progress on landscapes we have here (partly, huh).

I do love how antaritan formation looks like on the third sketch, and on the fourth I thought about metal extraction. What if matrix cities were landed on top of it, and then released machines to extract the material? Or... what if the cities itself can extract materials from under themselves?

Here I have a few very old works, showing how the matrix cities looks under the ground, i.e their submerged (or buried) part:



That is top right corner.



And bottom left corner (as well as 4 other that is not covered by white). 

And yep, these cities can fly in space, and freely land on a surfaces and then take off yet again (thanks to the Ancients, who left these beauties to sivalaary during their time together).



This one is an old scheme of how the cities works and their main, outer parts that support the dome - energy barrier. 

Those long things are "tongues", that hold matrices that create the energy barrier itself (there can be 4 or 6 tongues, depending on the city's size), and at the center you can see a pillar, it holds another matrix that maintains stable operation of the tongues' matrices). If the dome is not needed, the tongues retrieve to their "mouths" (yea, I know I'm being weird with those names, yet they are far from 2013-2014, and I still like them and find pretty suitable), and it deactivates the energy field.

Also, these cities were improved by sivalaary inserting antaritan structures into its core frame. Like, buildings, plants, factories, etc. - essentially they moved their entire cities into these matrix stations. And yes, those structures have their own power sources, separate from the matrices, and that's also how hybrid spaceships works as well.

If you ever see markings like these - SS, AA or SA - on my old works, that will mean what type of technology lies before you, fully Ancients' (AA), sivalaary's (SS) or a hybrid (SA).
