Just paid for the Patreon again to download VaM on a new PC, didn't realize it was the same code I used the first time!

There is a suggestion above that should work. Run VaM_Updater.exe in the VaM install folder. Click Options. Then click Sync / Repair Core. Make sure the version shows it is one of the 1.20 version (1.20.77.9 is latest as of this post). The key version has to match the program version.

For anyone having problems with the code being invalid, the fix I used was opening the VAM Updater and going into the options under patch notes. Then make sure your on the latest update and select Sync / Repair Core. After I did that, I was able to use the code. Not sure if it is a permanent fix or even a fix at all, but it's worth a shot.

when i put in the key it says it is invalid. NEED HELP!

so i had this issue so i tried to use the code but lower case 'c' and then it worked.. just for future reference

is this compatible with Mac?

It has, they patched in 2021, and they are working solely on building 2.0 which is based on newer platform of Unity.

With those system specs, you are probably unable to maintain FPS high enough to match the headset framerate (90FPS). This causes the headset to go into some kind of frame interpolation mode and can cause blurring and/or stuttering. You can turn off soft body physics in user preferences to see if that helps. That is one of the most demanding features in the game. You might also have to only use scenes that have a single Person model in them to keep framerates high. Hey just installed for the first time and tried in VR. The model becomes super blurry around the edges whenever I make any movement, so much so that the app is pretty much unusable unless there's a setting I can change to fix it? I tried changing the quality in the performance tab in the scene and between "high" and the lowest and there's no different with this blurring when I move. I haven't had this issue in other VR apps. I've got an i5, 16gb ram, GTX 1050ti + Occulus CV1 Any help appreciated thanks

Your subscription gets you access to the keys for the latest versions and the 2.X alphas as they come out. If you cancel, you can keep using the version you have forever, including free access to the Hub. Thank you!

Wow, ok, Thank you! I didn't realize there was more than one edit menu! But following your steps here I was able to get into the "true" person atom edit menu! Now I can finally get to work on making a couple of unique person atom characters the scenes! Thank you again!!

Are you activating Edit mode in the UI. Open the main UI, and you should see two big buttons. Play and Edit. Some scenes may come with controls to modify the character, but the full set of editable options is in the Edit UI. You also need to select the Person atom to get that UI open. I need assistance please! I've been trying to use the VAM software for a month now on the Creator Tier, I even have the "Creator" tag showing on the start menu. Yet I only have minimal ability to edit person atoms. I'm only able to change their facial expressions, make slight edits to their bodies, change a few hair styles. And a few other slight changes. But I'm not able to make any significant edits to person atoms. And I want to be able to create a scene with two person atoms of my own creations within the software. But again currently the software is only allowing me to make very minimal changes. How does this get fixed?

Yeah the download and install page indicates you should not install VaM to an admin-protected folder. You should move to somewhere outside of Program Files folder. You can just drag it to another location.

I'm a creater membership of petreon at MeshedVR and sucessfully installed VAM ver 1.20, however when I typed suggested key above error message came out beside Chech buttom "Exection while storing key Access to the patch "C:\Program Files\VaM_UpdaterKeys" is denied". (this is where I installed program) Please advice if I should move whole VAM program to other different folder? I'm not sure if my installed folder in C drive has been restricted by PC security system.

Are you sure you're not clicking the "VaM_Updater" instead of the "VaM" exe?

Unter welchem Pfad ist es gespeichert? C:\Programme etc... sind gesperrt. Erstell unter C einen neuen Ordner.

Please make sure you are running VaM 1.20 version. Also make sure you are typing code exactly as it appears here. Lastly make sure your VaM install directory is not in admin-protected area like Desktop or Program Files as the key file might not be able to be written out.

Thank you. We use Patreon because this is a game actively in development and is not a finished product. As such you are helping to fund the project by backing so that we may continue on 2.X which has a much higher chance of one day becoming a finished product that we can sell in retail. We are trusting people to be honest and contribute something if they use VaM on a regular basis during the development process. This model also allows people to try out VaM and if it isn't something they are interested in or doesn't work well on their computer, they are not forced to pay for it or have to ask for a refund.

Just wanna say, I love the physics and the potential this simulation/game has, but I'm not a huge fan of monthly payments, now don't get me wrong, I'd probably pay 50 bucks for this, maybe more, but I don't want to spend so much money on something I'm not frequently gonna use, Creator is nice, allows freedom, but too much. I'd support you no problem, but I'm not in the greatest of finances for spending. But overall I'd definitely be invested into a project like this if it were feasible to costs. Also I'm surprised how you guys have you payment thing, because anyone can just use the game any day for free other than the renewing day, Is it intentional?

Sorry you are having trouble. This is not normal and is very likely fixable. What headset are you using? Also - you have not been charged yet. My project is set up to charge on 1st-of-month. i got strange behaviour with download from hub.i start downloading something ,then after 3-4 downloaded thing is staying in quequed status ,if i put more thinghs to download afterwards, all of their status is just quequed. i have to quit the program and reenter ,then its workin for another couple of downloads then again stucking.anybody has same behaviour ?

its not in an admin protected libary and still doesnt work, did before the update,

VaM should not be installed to an admin-protected directory like Program Files. You should move the VAM folder to another folder that is not protected and try again.

I've never been able to access the game since the upgrade,. When I enter the Creator Code C28571 it says " exception while storing key. access to the path..C\ProgramFiles\VAM\Keys is denied". I did a completely fresh download and install hoping that would fix it, but the problem persists. What should I do?

I also receive an invalid code message. But only in VR Mode in Desktop Mode the code was accepted.

I had to delete my Keys folder under S:\VaM_Release1.16 then relaunch.
